Parkorus – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Parkorus website and the booking and use of parking services provided by Parkorus near Geneva Airport. By making a reservation through the Parkorus website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

1.1 “Parkorus”

Refers to Parkorus, the parking service provider operating near Geneva Airport, France.

1.2 “Customer”

Refers to any individual or legal entity making a reservation or using Parkorus parking services.

1.3 “Website”

Refers to the Parkorus website and any related online booking platform operated by Parkorus.

1.4 “Parking Services”

Refers to the parking services offered by Parkorus, including indoor and outdoor parking, vehicle storage, and related services.

1.5 “Shuttle Service”

Refers to the transportation service provided by Parkorus between the parking facility and Geneva Airport terminals.

1.6 “Reservation”

Refers to a confirmed booking made by the Customer through the Parkorus website or through an authorized Parkorus booking channel.

1.7 “Vehicle”

Refers to the car or other vehicle registered under a Customer’s Reservation.

1.8 “Booking Confirmation”

Refers to the confirmation issued by Parkorus after a Reservation has been successfully completed.

2. Booking and Reservation

2.1 Making a Reservation

Customers may reserve a parking space through the Parkorus online booking system by providing the information required to complete the Reservation.

2.2 Customer Information

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including:

  • Full name and contact details;
  • Vehicle registration number;
  • Vehicle type and relevant vehicle information;
  • Arrival and departure dates and times;
  • Flight information, where requested; and
  • Any additional information required to provide the Parking or Shuttle Service.

Parkorus cannot be held responsible for delays or service issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Customer.

2.3 Confirmation

A Reservation is considered confirmed once the booking process has been completed and a Booking Confirmation has been issued.

Customers should review their Booking Confirmation and immediately contact Parkorus if any information is incorrect.

2.4 Availability

All Reservations are subject to parking availability. Parkorus reserves the right to refuse a Reservation where the requested parking option is unavailable or cannot reasonably be provided.

3. Parking Services

3.1 Parking Location

Parkorus provides parking facilities near Geneva Airport in Ferney-Voltaire, France.

3.2 Parking Types

Depending on availability and the selected booking option, Parkorus may provide indoor or outdoor parking spaces.

3.3 Parking Period

The Vehicle may remain at the facility only for the period specified in the Reservation.

Customers who require a longer parking period should contact Parkorus as soon as possible to arrange an extension.

3.4 Vehicle Condition

Customers must ensure that their Vehicle is in a suitable condition for parking and that it is properly secured before leaving it at the facility.

Customers should not leave valuables, personal belongings, documents, cash, or other items of significant value inside the Vehicle.

3.5 Vehicle Keys

Where Parkorus requires the Customer to provide vehicle keys as part of the selected parking service, the Customer authorizes Parkorus personnel to move the Vehicle within the parking facility when reasonably necessary for operational, safety, or parking management purposes.

4. Vehicle Condition, Damage and Liability

4.1 Optional Photo Condition Report

A “Photo” condition report of the Vehicle may be prepared at the time of drop-off at the Customer’s express request and for an additional fee of fifteen (15) euros.

The request must be made in writing, either through the online booking form, by SMS in the case of a telephone or partner booking, or directly on-site at the time of Vehicle drop-off.

The “Photo” condition report must be carried out during daylight hours and on a dry and clean Vehicle.

4.2 Conditions for Vehicle Damage Claims

In the event of an issue arising during the provision of the services, Parkorus may be responsible for damage caused to the Vehicle’s bodywork, up to the amount paid for the applicable parking service, only where all of the following conditions are met:

  • A joint vehicle condition report has been established and signed by the Customer at the time of drop-off;
  • The Vehicle keys have been entrusted to Parkorus for the entire duration of the service; and
  • The alleged damage is identified jointly by the Customer and Parkorus at the time of Vehicle collection and while the Vehicle is still within the Parkorus parking premises.

In the absence of a joint condition report signed by the Customer at drop-off, Parkorus shall not be held responsible for the condition of the Vehicle observed upon its return, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4.3 Force Majeure and Excluded Circumstances

Parkorus shall not be liable for damage, loss, or incidents resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including force majeure events.

Parkorus shall not be liable for Vehicle breakdowns, regardless of their cause, or for broken glass, except where liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Parkorus shall not be responsible for luggage, personal belongings, valuables, documents, cash, or other items left inside the Vehicle during the parking period and/or during Shuttle transfers.

Customers are therefore advised not to leave valuable or personal belongings inside the Vehicle.

4.4 Battery and Vehicle Movement

In the event of a discharged Vehicle battery, Parkorus may start the Vehicle using jump leads or a battery booster where reasonably necessary.

Parkorus may also move the Vehicle within the parking facility when necessary for operational, safety, or parking management purposes.

4.5 Vehicle Mechanical and Technical Condition

Parkorus shall not be responsible for breakdowns, mechanical failures, electrical failures, or other damage affecting Vehicles entrusted to it, nor for their consequences, where such issues result from or are related to:

  • Lack of or inadequate vehicle maintenance;
  • Electronic or mechanical malfunction;
  • Normal wear and tear of Vehicle parts or components;
  • Insufficient oil;
  • Insufficient fuel;
  • Insufficient water or coolant; or
  • Existing defects or faults affecting the Vehicle.

4.6 Customer's Duty to Report Existing Issues

The Customer must inform Parkorus, before dropping off the Vehicle, of any known technical issue, malfunction, damage, or specific feature that may affect the operation or handling of the Vehicle.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Faulty electric windows;
  • Damaged handles or locks;
  • Starting requirements involving a security code;
  • Existing mechanical or electronic faults; or
  • Any other issue that may affect the safe movement or operation of the Vehicle.

If the Customer fails to disclose such information before Vehicle drop-off, Parkorus shall not be held responsible for any consequences arising from the undisclosed issue, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Shuttle Service

5.1 Complimentary Shuttle

Where included with the selected Reservation, Parkorus provides a complimentary Shuttle Service between the parking facility and Geneva Airport.

5.2 Shuttle Transfers

Customers must follow the instructions provided by Parkorus regarding shuttle pick-up and drop-off locations and procedures.

5.3 Flight Delays and Changes

Customers are responsible for informing Parkorus of significant changes to their flight schedule when requested.

Parkorus will make reasonable efforts to accommodate flight delays or changes, subject to operational availability.

5.4 Passenger and Luggage Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their luggage and personal belongings are properly secured during Shuttle transportation.

Any special transportation requirements should be communicated to Parkorus before arrival whenever possible.

5.5 Shuttle Delays

Although Parkorus aims to provide timely shuttle transfers, transfer times may be affected by traffic, weather, airport restrictions, operational circumstances, or other factors outside Parkorus’s reasonable control.

Customers should allow sufficient time for parking, shuttle transportation, airport check-in, security procedures, and possible traffic delays.

6. Prices and Payment

6.1 Parking Fees

The applicable parking fee is the price displayed during the booking process and confirmed at the time of Reservation.

6.2 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for services or circumstances not included in the original Reservation, including but not limited to:

  • Additional parking days;
  • Optional vehicle services;
  • Special requests; and
  • Services requested after the original Reservation.

6.3 Payment

Payment must be completed through the payment method made available during the booking process.

A Reservation may not be considered confirmed until the required payment has been successfully processed.

6.4 Price Changes

Parkorus reserves the right to modify its prices and offers. Any price change will not affect a Reservation that has already been confirmed, unless additional services are requested by the Customer.

7. Cancellation and Modification

7.1 Reservation Changes

Customers may request changes to their Reservation, subject to availability and the applicable booking conditions.

7.2 Free Cancellation or Modification

Where the selected booking option provides free cancellation or modification, Customers may cancel or modify their Reservation within the period specified during the booking process.

Parkorus currently provides free modifications or cancellations up to twenty-four (24) hours before the Reservation for eligible bookings.

7.3 Late Cancellation

Cancellations made after the applicable cancellation deadline may be subject to cancellation fees or may not qualify for a refund, depending on the booking conditions applicable to the Reservation.

7.4 No-Show

If the Customer does not arrive for the Reservation and does not notify Parkorus, the Reservation may be treated as a no-show and may not be eligible for a refund.

7.5 Early Return

If the Customer returns earlier than the departure date stated in the Reservation, no automatic refund will be provided unless otherwise agreed or required by the applicable booking conditions.

8. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate booking and Vehicle information;
  • Arrive at the parking facility at the time specified in the Reservation;
  • Follow Parkorus staff instructions and parking procedures;
  • Follow applicable safety rules at the parking facility;
  • Ensure that the Vehicle is properly locked before leaving it;
  • Remove valuable personal belongings from the Vehicle;
  • Inform Parkorus of any relevant changes to the Reservation; and
  • Respect the parking facility, staff, other customers, and property.

Customers must not use the parking facility for illegal, hazardous, or unauthorized activities.

9. Prohibited Items and Activities

Customers must not leave dangerous, illegal, flammable, explosive, toxic, or otherwise prohibited materials inside a Vehicle.

The parking facility must not be used for:

  • Illegal activities;
  • Commercial activities without prior authorization;
  • Vehicle repairs or maintenance without Parkorus’s approval;
  • Storage of hazardous materials; or
  • Activities that may endanger people, vehicles, or property.

Parkorus reserves the right to refuse or terminate a parking service where it reasonably believes that a Vehicle or Customer presents a safety, legal, or operational risk.

10. Force Majeure

Parkorus shall not be responsible for failure or delay in providing its services where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include:

  • Severe weather conditions;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Fire;
  • Strikes or labor disputes;
  • Traffic disruptions;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Airport operational restrictions;
  • Road closures;
  • Security incidents;
  • Technical failures; or
  • Other unforeseen events beyond Parkorus’s reasonable control.

Parkorus will make reasonable efforts to minimize the impact of such circumstances on Customers.

11. Website Use

11.1 Website Information

Parkorus aims to ensure that information published on the Website is accurate and up to date. However, information may occasionally change due to operational, pricing, or service updates.

11.2 Website Availability

Parkorus does not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from technical errors.

11.3 Prohibited Website Use

Customers must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems;
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Website;
  • Use automated systems to obtain unauthorized access to booking data;
  • Copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit Website content without authorization; or
  • Use the Website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

12. Intellectual Property

All content available on the Parkorus Website, including text, logos, graphics, images, designs, trademarks, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Parkorus unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or commercially used without prior written authorization from Parkorus, except where permitted by applicable law.

13. Personal Data and Privacy

Parkorus may collect and process Customer information necessary to provide Parking Services, process Reservations, communicate with Customers, and provide Shuttle Services.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with Parkorus’s applicable Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Customers should review the Parkorus Privacy Policy for further information about the collection, use, storage, and protection of personal data.

14. Complaints and Customer Support

Customers are encouraged to contact Parkorus as soon as possible if they experience a problem with their Reservation, parking service, Vehicle, or Shuttle Service.

Complaints should include sufficient information to allow Parkorus to investigate the matter, including:

  • Booking reference;
  • Customer name;
  • Date and time of the incident;
  • Description of the issue; and
  • Supporting photographs or documents, where applicable.

Parkorus will make reasonable efforts to investigate and respond to legitimate complaints within a reasonable period.

15. Termination or Refusal of Service

Parkorus may refuse or terminate a Customer’s Parking or Shuttle Service where:

  • The Customer provides false or misleading information;
  • The Customer fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions;
  • The Vehicle presents a safety or legal risk;
  • The Customer engages in abusive, threatening, or unlawful behavior;
  • Payment has not been completed where payment is required; or
  • Continued provision of the service is not reasonably possible.

Where appropriate and permitted by applicable law, Parkorus will inform the Customer of the reason for refusing or terminating the service.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Parkorus shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of its services, including loss of business, loss of profits, or other indirect financial losses.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws applicable to Parkorus and its place of operation in France.

Any dispute arising from the use of Parkorus services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights or other applicable legal requirements.

18. Amendments to These Terms

Parkorus reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions when necessary to reflect changes to its services, booking procedures, legal requirements, or business operations.

The latest version published on the Parkorus Website shall apply to future Reservations.

Changes will not affect confirmed Reservations where doing so would conflict with applicable law or the agreed booking conditions.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain valid and enforceable to the extent permitted by law.

20

20. No Waiver

Failure by Parkorus to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.
